Status update (checked October 30, 2026): this study is no longer taking regular applications. The User Interviews page now only offers "Apply to the waitlist", so joining doesn't give you a session unless a spot reopens. The details below are kept for reference.
Candid was talking with people who raise funds for nonprofits about how they find and research potential funders, and how they think about the tools they use for that work.
It was a 45-minute video conversation: questions about your work, then a few short descriptions of tool features to react to, partly on a simple online whiteboard in the browser.

Applying went through a screener, so it was never a guaranteed session.
